1.DEVELOPMENT
Our development team made progress in developing the pixel stream. There is now a virtual camera built into Maximus, the first original Metaspace made by YOM.

Additionally, all future major map updates can be manually deployed and will be available for deployment preview. Cloud server performance (GPU) can now be further measured now that there is an actual map running.

Marketplace
We are adding finishing touches to text and graphic elements to get everything ready for the marketplace launch. The date has not been announced yet.

The TU Delft team has started working on building the deployment kits for Metaspace and Marketplace. They have been making great progress. More news in the next roadmap update.

2.ADOPTION
Sportswear brands
After receiving positive feedback from one of the world’s largest sports apparel companies, we can move to the next adoption phase. The goal is to present the first product in Q3/Q4 and participate in a global sports industry event.

Beauty brands
We have been developing exclusive Metaverse assets and experiences for a number of influential cosmetics brands. Phase 1 is scheduled for deployment in the next 12–24 months.

Record companies
We are working with one of the international music labels that represent popular artists. We want to bring them into the world of open and decentralized Metaverse. That way music artists will engage and co-create with audiences in completely new ways.

State of the Metaverse
More than 50 professionals attended the first live event at our Office Headquarters in Utrecht. Leading industry entrepreneurs Christiaan Eisberg of Straightfire and Nick Yap of Interverse talked about NFTs, NPCs, voices, and the future of Metaverse. YOM X Jason Silva’s video collaboration was also presented.

State of The Metaverse: Live Event video is already out (watch here). Recorded video presentations will be released next week.

Partnerships
May 6, 2022: We announced a partnership with a company that blurs the lines between the real and digital world: Reblika. An award-winning character company, Reblika creates state-of-the-art digital humans, 3D scans, and digital doubles for the fashion, gaming, and film industries. And now the Metaverse.

May 9, 2022: We shared news about the new strategic partnership with UnitySwap. UnitySwap helps charities to create their own tokens that generate donations with every transaction made. Together we will introduce charity organizations to the metaverse and pave the way for digital fundraising for good causes through blockchain technology.

3. LEGAL
April 8, 2022: We had a meeting with experts: advisors, notaries, lawyers, accountants, and tax professionals. We are looking for ways to better structure and segment our organization, now that crypto adoption has reached a whole new level here in Europe. Good news: the meeting went quite well. We will move on to the next stage as soon as we receive feedback from all parties involved.

In regard to regulation standards, we are working towards a specific goal: to have established a system that allows us to adhere to rules and regulatory standards established by the Dutch regulator. This task will take more time than expected but we are on the right track.
