Here is the updated Roadmap so you can track our progress at YOM. From now on we will be providing a detailed overview of what our team has accomplished so far and what we have in the works.
Development
Great news: we partnered up with the University of Delft (NL). Over the following 10 weeks we will be working closely with 6 students of the computer science faculty. Together with a team of highly enthusiastic developers we will be building our own deployment toolkit (SDK). This toolkit will allow YOM explorers to host virtual experiences on virtually any website. The partnership with TU Delft will also help us build a better future and work with the next generation of developers.
Adoption
Yes! The marketing force at YOM is growing. From the start of June, Beau, who has experience creating engaging content and delivering it on YouTube, is going to join our marketing team. Together we will bring more awareness to the YOM brand, create more quality content and let the world know what kind of a platform we are building. Increasing community engagement is also something Beau will be helping us to achieve.
Future customers will activate the network effect and increase the value of YOM by purchasing virtual experiences and hosting on the platform. Currently we are putting together pitch decks for two major brands. Several virtualized NFT collection concepts (initial phase) as well as virtual experiences (follow-up phase) will be showcased. Unfortunately, no further information can be provided at the moment, but these brands are quite popular and have millions of customers and users.
Last but not least, we are always open to working with new partners who can become part of the YOM family.
