In this article, we’ll take a closer look at our latest sprint. We are excited to share some amazing updates and improvements that we have made to our platform. In this article, we will highlight the key enhancements we have made in the areas of multiplayer, rendering, bridge, build, and cost management.

Multiplayer
One of the major achievements of this sprint is our improved support for scaling multiplayer. We have successfully increased the number of players supported to 50 while maintaining a reliable frame rate of >30fps even on the lowest performance tier. This means more players can now join the action and enjoy a seamless multiplayer experience.

Rendering
We have also made significant improvements to our rendering performance by updating our base images to use the latest NVIDIA drivers and implementing DLSS as a default setting. As a result, we have achieved a notable 50% increase in AWS rendering performance across all our spaces. This means faster rendering times, allowing our users to create and render high-quality graphics more efficiently.

Bridge
Our bridge feature has received some major updates as well. Now, in addition to existing functionalities, it also allows shipping builds and region-specific deployments. This means users can easily deploy their builds to specific regions, catering to different markets and audiences. Check out the video to see how the bridge feature simplifies the build deployment process.

Build
We have upgraded our build pipeline to support multiple build servers, enabling us to run multiple customer or development builds in parallel. This significantly speeds up the build process and improves overall productivity. Now, our users can build and test their projects more quickly, leading to faster development cycles and quicker iterations.

Measure
We have introduced a basic cost breakdown feature for each separate metaspace and/or customer. This allows our users to have better visibility into their usage and cost allocation, helping them manage their resources more effectively. This feature provides valuable insights into the cost associated with each metaspace or customer, helping our users make informed decisions and optimize their spending.

Next Steps
We have some exciting plans for our future sprints. Our next steps include tracking and displaying metaspace usage, introducing a new YOM Tokyo space, custom Metaspace branding, and adding EVM support. We are also working towards enabling large-scale multiplayer capabilities, allowing even more players to connect and play together seamlessly.

Thank you for your continued support, and stay tuned for more updates in our upcoming Sprint recaps!
