YOM is excited to announce that our affable CXO is now registered and will be attending Consensus 2024 in Austin TX May 28-June 1st. He will be presenting the YOM game-focused DePIN solution at the conference to various partners, projects, and vendors, as well as attending educational seminars and networking events.
What is Consensus2024
Consensus 2024 is a massive web3 event expecting over 15,000 attendees with 6800 companies represented, 850+ investor groups, and over 750 media outlets representing over 100 countries. The event will be host to a number of different DePIN sub-conferences and events, which is of particular interest to YOM as we promote our game focused, Solana based solution to the current challenges of cloud gaming.
Value to YOM
Events like Consensus represent tremendous opportunity to expand YOM’s presence in the web3 space, presenting the technological and market positioning of the project’s offerings and vision. The Token2049 event in Dubai that the team attended in April cemented the value of these types of events in leading to new partnerships, investment opportunities and knowledge sharing, and we expect Austin to be equally valuable.
Limited Engagement
The Consensus event lasts for three days at the Austin Convention Center, and is expected to draw in projects and investment opportunities from a truly global perspective. In those three short days, multiple meetings and social events for YOM to attend are already scheduled. The community should expect regular updates as the show progresses.
While it is true that there will be a professional Karate Combat exhibit at the show in Austin, there is no truth to the rumor that our CXO will step back into the ring to regain his lost glory. “Those days are well left behind me,” he is quoted as saying.
