For the past six weeks, under the radar of our community and the broader public, we have been engaged in their renowned accelerator program. Our goals have been to refine our market approach, expose the YOM DePIN to strategic partners, and to test the robustness of our organization. III. The Accelerator Program
YOM was invited to be one of only a handful of DePIN projects entering into the intensive Basecamp accelerator program at Outlier Ventures. This invitation followed our introduction at Token2049 in Dubai this past May, and put us in the small class after outshining hundreds of other applications. The 12-week program has proven instrumental in sharpening our investment pitch and introducing our team to a large number of potential partners. The first half of the program has concentrated on the fundamentals of marketing, brand positioning, tokenomics, and fundraising, all crucial building blocks for the project’s success. Each session that the YOM team has attended included a layer of ‘homework’ reviewed by leading industry experts and refined in one-on-one sessions hosted by Outlier Ventures. The remainder of the program is aimed at consolidating all the learnings from the first half and applying those new skills into our already mature business plan.
