Last week we announced our rebranding, fulfilling a massive goal of ours, and we are barely starting.

Many of you wanted product updates. So, this is what we have been restlessly working on in the past month:

Multiplayer

The achievement we are most proud of is that our multiplayer capabilities are fully functional, so you will not have to fear experiencing the metaverse alone. Thus, it is now officially possible to run interactional experiences with multiple people in the same room → you can check a snippet of it in this link (https://youtu.be/O5glweSC3wY). Soon we’ll release a video with all the details, so stay tuned!

Inventory and Spawn items

While visiting any metaspace, all items owned in the wallet you connected to the experience with will be displayed in the newly added inventory tab. Not only that, but by selecting any VR items from the inventory, you can spawn them in the world and use them. All at the click of a button.

Automated build and deploy pipeline for experiences

Creating a metaverse experience should be as easy as 1,2,3. And managing one should be even easier. So, we are introducing a new feature that makes building and deploying experiences fully automatic through a pipeline. This allows creators/brands to release (new versions of) their experience instantaneously, without requiring manual steps during the process.

Yommies: the first YOM-certified virtual items

Meet Sun Yommie, both he and his sister, Moon Yommie, are the first two virtual items minted by YOM on Solana Mainnet. The precedent has been set. Everything else will follow. Give our Yommies some love by tapping them on the head — Sun Yommie & Moon Yommie.

Other Features:

  • Virtual camera & wallet login — Our SDK now includes logic that triggers a virtual camera “flyby” to show the experience to Consumers before logging in. Once a Consumer logs in using their wallet, an Avatar will spawn in the experience that can be controlled by said Consumer.
  • Redirect to an external landing page — It is now possible to be redirected from the Unreal experience to external web addresses, for instance at the end of a scripted experience to go to a web landing page.
  • SDK documentation — Our SDK now includes comprehensive documentation on the available functions as well as a “getting started” guide. This documentation will be expanded as we develop to add more functionality to the SDK.
  • Fullscreen button — Our experiences now include a fullscreen button that can be used to make the experience window take over the full screen.

Even though this was an extensive update, we will be providing video content to better showcase our platform progress.

BIG Updates are on the way! Stay tuned, Yommies, and keep a close eye on our socials.
