As part of our recent goal-setting exercise, the YOM community rightfully pointed out that our public roadmap needed updating. While we have been aligned internally on our milestones, we recognize the importance of keeping our broader community informed. During our recent Town Hall, we introduced the updated roadmap and would like to take this opportunity to elaborate on the changes.
At its core, a roadmap serves as both a guide and a measure of accountability. However, flexibility is key to adapting to unforeseen opportunities and challenges. For example, invitations to present at major events like Star Atlas’s Breakpoint compelled us to adjust our original timelines. Roadmaps are like maps in a journey: sometimes, unexpected roadblocks force you to find alternate paths.
What Changed?
One significant change in this version is the extended time allocated to the Alpha phase. This shift occurred for two main reasons. First, high-profile speaking engagements, such as Token 2049, gave us the chance to showcase our platform more robustly. To capitalize on this, we focused on refining the Alpha, allowing us to present stronger demos at these global events. Second, those demos highlighted technical challenges we hadn’t fully anticipated, but overcoming them proved invaluable, strengthening our product.
Another key development was our integration into Telegram. Recent excitement around Telegram gaming and the TON network led us to realize that our technology could bring something unique to the space — an Unreal Engine-powered game deployed directly on Telegram. This move highlighted one of the unique selling points of our network: the ease of distributing game content across multiple platforms, such as Telegram and Reddit, facilitating viral sharing and broader adoption.
A third significant shift was the decision to move the marketing relaunch from this year to the first half of next year. This strategic move will ensure that our marketing efforts align with both market sentiment post-New Year and the availability of a more robust network infrastructure for content creators.

Transparency has always been a core value for us, but we recognize that updating a roadmap can sometimes cause concern. Our commitment to open dialogue — evidenced by our Town Halls — ensures that we’re listening to feedback while making decisions that benefit both the community and the project’s long-term success. Rest assured, any changes we make are thoughtfully considered, weighing the impact on our community and the broader stakeholder base.
While no roadmap is set in stone, we believe the adjustments reflect necessary, positive changes that strengthen our mission. The end goal has not shifted: we are still on track to deliver the most advanced gaming DePIN network for both developers and players.
Looking ahead, the updated roadmap highlights major upcoming milestones like the major gaming launch and the implementation of a fiat payment system. These developments show our intention to bridge the gap between traditional and web3 gaming, ensuring that gamers and node operators alike benefit from a decentralized, globally distributed network.
