Purpose of the Node Sale
Node owners are the key component to support this revolution in cloud gaming. YOM has developed their game focused decentralized network in order to bring AAA quality Unreal Engine 5 games to any player on any device that has a web browser and internet access. This network is powered by the gaming rigs supplied by node owners.
In exchange for becoming a building block for this network, node owners earn up to 480% APY, determined by the power of their systems and the availability they supply to the network. Genesis Node owners also have exclusive access to specialty content through our partners and join members rewards programs like the $YRX system at an accelerated level.
Limited Availability
The expansion of the YOM node network is open ended, as the demand for gaming and interactive content is only expected to grow over time. So while there is no end to the nodes that will be made available over time, ownership in the Genesis Series has exclusive rewards.
The Genesis Nodes offered will come with a reward program advantage of between 150k-300k $YRX to support the prestige at which each node operates. This advantage plays a large role in the amount of gaming hours streamed to the associated node, potentially increasing node value immediately. Because of this high first mover advantage reward, it is expected that these first nodes released will move quickly.
Other partner rewards and future community benefits for Genesis Node ownership will certainly be available, and more on those programs will be released as details are secured.
Details about the Node
YOM Genesis Node License NFTs being minted are a redeem ticket to receive an externally mounted plug-n-earn SSD drives which operate the YOM node.os. Once the hardware has shipped in 2025, owners simply attach the YOM node SSD to their home computer and decide to boot from that drive during the times they wish to make their GPUs available to the network.
The external harddrive format is provided to allow for added security to both the YOM network and the owner’s home system, as well as to greatly reduce the complexity of node ownership. There is no software to install on your home system, and no intrusion into the gaming rig’s native harddrive.
Node owners are paid in $YOM for the use of their systems when they are active on the network, based on the amount of gaming hours they enable. The amount of streaming hours sent to each node is determined by the orchestrator layer of the network using an algorithm that factors in attributes such as GPU rating, $YRX level associated with the node, latency to the end user requesting an experience, and reliability score of the node as determined by up-time and disconnect pattern.
Once installed, the node becomes part of the broader YOM DePIN, and the node owner is part of the growing community who see the future of cloud gaming and boldly act to help launch this vision.
Benefits of Owning a Node
Beyond owning a portion of the coming future of the internet and earning $YOM while doing so, node ownership comes with other benefits.
The YOM partnership program encourages games to provide special access and content to those node owners who power their experiences. This special access could come in the form of whitelisting into early access / beta launches and velvet rope treatment for special, closed events. Node reward content could come in the form of special game unlocks and game NFT items not available to other players, branded by the partner and the YOM collaboration.
Sale Date and Process
Genesis Node minting is expected to begin in late Q3/early Q4 of 2024. This inaugural collection of just 10000 licenses will provide the highest $YRX reward level to be offered at the time of redemption, providing the node operator the advantage from the orchestrator in their region.

Once minted, the license token will be transferred to the designated wallet. This token is transferable until redeemed in exchange for the hardware, expected to be available in Q2 of 2025.
